The third ODI match between India and South Africa will be played in Visakhapatnam. Before this match, there is big news that only four players reached the field for practice. Gautam Gambhir and other support staff were also with him but Virat Kohli-Rohit Sharma decided to take rest. Actually, Team India had not organized any practice session for this match. However, there was an optional practice session which was attended by only four players. Yashasvi Jaiswal, Tilak Verma, Washington Sundar and Nitish Kumar Reddy attended this session.
Visakhapatnam ODI is very important for Yashasvi Jaiswal because in the last two matches this player managed to get the start but he got out after playing a bad shot. 23 This batsman of the year scored 18 runs in the first match and 22 runs in the second match. Yashasvi got a chance in the ODI series due to the injury of Shubman Gill. If this player fails to make an impact in the third ODI, then it will be difficult for him to retain his place in the ODI team.
Eyes are also going to be on Washington Sundar. This player is being used as a middle order batsman in Team India and he is being given negligible bowling. Sundar is neither batting nor is he getting the bowling properly. It remains to be seen what is the plan for them in Visakhapatnam. Talking about Tilak Verma and Nitish Kumar Reddy, both have not got a chance in the series till now. There seems to be little possibility of him getting a chance in the third ODI also.
The good thing for Team India is that Virat Kohli's bat is scoring runs. He has been successful in scoring centuries in both the last matches. Rituraj also scored a century in the last match. Captain Rahul scored two consecutive half-centuries. The team's bowlers have disappointed. Especially the famous Krishna has not been able to live up to the expectations. If the bowlers make mistakes in the third ODI, the team may lose the series.
