Delhi: Pakistani cricket selectors have announced their team for the tour of Ireland and England. The national selection committee led by chief selector Wahab Riaz, which also includes Mohammad Yousuf, Abdul Razzaq and Bilal Afzal, announced the squad during a press conference.

Pakistan has announced an 18-member squad for the upcoming Do Main series, while the 15-member squad for the ICC T20 World Cup 2024 starting in the United States (USA) and West Indies from June 2 will be finalized for the first T20I against England. Will be done after. The T20I series against Ireland is from 10 to 14 May, while the series against England will be played from 22 to 30 May.

According to Pakistani media, their national cricket team for the ICC Men's T20 World Cup will be announced after the first T20 International match in Leeds on 22 May. The last date for announcement of teams for the upcoming major tournament is 24th May.

The selection committee has re-included fast bowler Haris Rauf, all-rounder Hasan Ali and Salman Ali Aga in the 18-member squad for the tour of Ireland and England. Selection committee member Yusuf said that Azam Khan, who was injured before the series against New Zealand, is now fit, while Mohammad Rizwan is also fully fit now and both the players are included in the 18-member team.

Meanwhile, Chief Selector Wahab Riaz said, “Usman Khan's condition is improving. We should support him, bring Usman Khan in the best position. “International cricket is stressful, success and failure are part of the game.”
