India leads South Africa 1-0 in the ongoing three-match ODI series and will look to clinch the series in the second ODI at Shaheed Veer Narayan Singh International Stadium, Raipur, on December 3.
Both teams have arrived in Raipur following the first ODI in Ranchi, which India won by 17 runs. Given the late finish of the Ranchi match, it’s unlikely that either side will hold a full practice session before the game. Nets sessions are scheduled for tomorrow to help players acclimatise to local conditions.
Potential changes in playing XIs are expected. India may consider dropping Prasidh Krishna and reshuffling the batting order, while South Africa could bring back rested players like Keshav Maharaj, Lungi Ngidi, and others for the Raipur clash.
