Tim David was spotted imitating Sunil Narine while bowling in the final of the Abu Dhabi T10 on November 30. David secured the Player of the Match for his scintillating 98-run knock as UAE Bulls sealed an 80-run over Aspin Stallions to secure the title.
The incident occurred on the third delivery in the final over of the match. David surprisingly pulled out a Narine-esque action to leave his teammates amused, with wicketkeeper Phil Salt and Kieron Pollard at first slip having a hearty laugh. The cameras immediately panned to Narine on the field. Narine, like always, had no reaction to offer.

As for the summit clash at the Zayed Cricket Stadium in Abu Dhabi, UAE Bulls were put in to bat and they posted 150/1 in their 10 overs, with David scoring a touch above 65% of the team's total. His power-packed knock comprised three fours and a whopping 12 sixes.
Speaking of the run-chase, Aspin Stallions could only get to 70/4 against the disciplined bowling effort of the Bulls. Barring Qais Ahmad, who conceded 14 runs in his first over, every other bowler proved economical.
Narine conceded only 10 runs in his two overs, while David, who was entrusted to bowl the final over of the match by Pollard, gave away only five runs. No one from the Stallions could cross the 20-run mark as the Bulls reigned supreme.
David had a sensational tournament, ending as the leading run-getter with 393 runs at a lethal strike rate of 263.75 in nine innings. With the 2026 T20 World Cup in India and Sri Lanka fast approaching, the middle-order batter will be a hot prospect to watch out for.
