Sunday 30th November was worth the money for Indian cricket fans. Team India's batsmen made a big score at the Ranchi Cricket Stadium and its star was Virat Kohli, who scored his 52nd century in ODI cricket. In the first match of the ODI series against South Africa, Kohli made such a slash with his bat that the spectators were astonished. Surprised because Kohli is now rarely seen playing cricket and hence questions are being raised on his career. Even though Kohli lives away from everyone's sight in England, he leaves no stone unturned in his preparations there too and this was revealed by a special person.
In the first ODI match in Ranchi Kohli Scored a memorable century and took Team India to a big score of 349 runs. Kohli scored a century after waiting for 9 months, which was his 83rd century in international cricket. This century of Kohli was also special because he was out on 0 twice in a row during the Australia tour last month. But after this he scored a half-century in Sydney and now after a month he returned and scored a straight century.
Before this century, questions were being raised whether Kohli can still play like before or not? These questions were also being raised because Kohli had gone straight to England after playing the last series, where he lives in London with his family. But while people ask whether Kohli gives time to cricket or not, the truth is that Virat leaves no stone unturned in his preparations and has made complete arrangements in London. This was revealed by former South African fast bowler Dale Steyn after Virat's innings in Ranchi.
Discussing Kohli's batting after the end of the Indian innings, the South African veteran pacer said, "I was talking to Virat and came to know that he has made complete arrangements in London. Virat goes to Lord's and Surrey Cricket Ground (Oval) 4 days a week and does fielding practice there apart from throwdowns." Even before this, some pictures of Kohli practicing at Lord's had gone viral on social media. But what Steyn revealed shows that despite staying away from everyone's eyes, Kohli keeps preparing himself for every upcoming series.
