Scotland name squad for upcoming T20I tri-series in Netherlands : Before the T20 World Cup 2024, all the teams are busy in their preparations. Important players of many teams are participating in IPL (IPL 2024), while players of other teams are busy in their preparations to participate in the international series. A T20 series (Netherlands T20I Tri-Series, 2024) is going to be organized between three countries in the Netherlands in the middle of May, in which host Netherlands, Ireland and Scotland will participate. Scotland has announced its team for this major series.

Scotland took part in a 3-match T20 series against the UAE team in the month of March. After losing the first match, Scotland made a strong comeback and won the next two matches and the series. There has not been much change in the team that took the field against UAE and the players selected for the upcoming triangular series. Only 2 players have been shown the door. 19-year-old Charlie Tear has been included in the team in place of Andrew Umid, while spinner James Dickson has also been ruled out.

Scotland will play its first match against Netherlands on 18 May, second match against Ireland on 20 May, third match again against Netherlands on 22 May and the final match against Ireland on 23 May.

After the triangular series, the Scotland team will participate in the T20 World Cup 2024. Scotland team is present in Group B of this major T20 tournament where their matches will be against England on 4th June, Namibia on 6th June, Oman on 9th June and Australia on 15th June.
