Bahraich: The wolf picked up the child playing outside the house and took both his hands to the sugarcane field and chewed them. Due to this he got seriously injured. The family admitted the child to the hospital. From here he was brought to Bahraich Medical College. Seeing that the child’s condition was not improving, the doctors referred him to Lucknow.

According to family members, on Friday in Kaiserganj police station area, two wolves attacked a 5-year-old child who was playing with other children outside the house. The wolf picked him up and took him to the sugarcane field. By the time the family members ran back, the wolf had chewed both the hands of the child in the sugarcane field. When the family started digging in the sugarcane field, the wolf ran away leaving the child behind.

The child was immediately taken to the local hospital. From where he was referred to the medical college. Seeing his serious condition, the doctor referred him from Bahraich to Lucknow. Dr. Rajesh Sonkar, posted on emergency duty at the Medical College, said that both the hands of the child have been eaten away by a wild animal. There are deep wound marks on the child’s body also. Seeing the serious situation, the child has been referred to the Medical College, Lucknow.

Eight died so far: Let us tell you that so far a couple and 6 children have died in the wolf attack that started on September 9 in the district. More than three dozen people have been injured.
