Mirzapur. A road accident that occurred at around 7:30 am on Friday morning on the Prayagraj-Varanasi National Highway near Katka village of Kachwan police station area in Mirzapur district of Uttar Pradesh shocked the area. As soon as the information was received, senior police officers and the team of Kachwan police station reached the spot.

The investigation conducted on the spot revealed that the Swift car (UP 70 BZ 4500) coming from Prayagraj hit a container parked on the roadside strongly from behind. In the horrific accident, car rider Shyam Krishna (55), son of Babulal Yadav and his son Anurag Yadav (30), resident of Koraon, Prayagraj district, died on the spot.

Meanwhile, two people sitting on the roadside also got involved in the accident. One of them died on the spot, while the other died on the way while being taken for treatment. In this way, a total of four people died in the accident. Kachwan police has filled the panchayatnama of the bodies of all the deceased and sent them for post-mortem. Area officer Sadar Amar Bahadur said that law and order is completely normal at the spot and the cause of the accident is being investigated.
