Radio jockey and digital creator RJ Mahvash recently posted a cryptic video on trust and relationships. Her comments came following the recent postponement of star cricketer Smriti Mandhana and music composer Palash Muchhal’s wedding, with rumours already circulating about alleged cheating.
Mandhana and Muchhal were set to get married on November 23. However, the wedding was postponed due to the ill health of Smriti’s father. Despite the couple staying silent, the internet soon escalated with unverified allegations, including claims that Palash cheated on Smriti.
Amidst this speculation, RJ Mahvash shared a video addressing trust issues in relationships, without taking names, but many people connected her comments to the ongoing chatter surrounding the couple. In the video, Mahvash explained that she does not blindly trust anyone. She states that if it were her wedding, she would announce her groom publicly a week earlier so people could come forward if they had seen him in anyone’s messages.
“Mard bhi badi pyaari cheez hote hain... Jab pucho single hi hote hain (Men are great… they are always single). Dekho bhai, mujhe sach aur jhooth nahi pata but meri shaadi ke waqt na main apna dhola na kar rahi hun Internet pe ek hafta phele launch… Aur mera wala jiske bhi DM mein suhagraat bana raha ho na, girls aake mujhe bata dena… Yeh mat sochana ke shaadi ho rahi hai ab toh kaise tute gai, yeh toh uspe trust karti hogi… Nahi main duniya mein kissi pe bhi trust nahi karti.
Ab main kissi ke liye yeh nahi keh paati ke yeh banda aisa kar hi nahi sakta. Koi bhi kuch bhi kar sakta hai. Tum uske DM public kardena ya toh mujhe de dena main public kar dungi… Agar Snapchat pe ho toh dosre phone se bana lena… Bacha lena dostun… Please girls tumhare hawale watan saathiyun," she said on the video.

Meanwhile, Smriti and Palash have both removed pre-wedding posts on Instagram, and neither of them has publicly given out a statement regarding the incident.
However, recently the groom's mother confirmed the wedding will take place soon, but didn't confirm any date.“Smriti and Palash dono takleef mein hain. Palash dreamt of coming home with his bride. I had even planned a special welcome. Everything will be fine, shaadi bohot jaldi hogi. Everything will fall into place soon,” she said
