A fire broke out due to a short circuit in the luggage illegally loaded on the roof of a bus loaded with passengers in Chakeri police station area. As soon as the fire broke out, the drivers passing by raised an alarm, so the bus driver somehow stopped the bus and took out the passengers, but the entire bus got caught in the fire. Police reached the spot and evacuated the passengers.

Around 9:15, a bus named Kamala Travel was moving towards Ramdevi on Chakeri Highway NH34, just one and a half kilometers away from Chakeri police station area, when the luggage being illegally transported on the roof of the bus caught fire due to a short circuit. Within no time, the luggage on the roof of the bus started burning and smoke was coming out from there. When the drivers alerted the driver, he stopped the bus in the middle of the highway. Seeing the fire, there was an outcry among the passengers, somehow all the passengers got out. Seeing the fire in the bus moving on the highway, where people started making videos, there were long lines of vehicles on both sides. It is being told that the bus was going from Delhi to Banaras when the luggage on the roof of the bus caught fire due to a short circuit, which engulfed the entire bus.
