The mega auction of the Women's Premier League 2026 was quite memorable.
This time a total of 276 players took part in the auction, out of which 67 players found buyers. 5 teams together spent a total of Rs 40.8 crore. Out of this, Rs 21.65 crore was spent on Indian players. During this period, Deepti Sharma proved to be the most expensive player, she was bought by UP Warriors for Rs 3.2 crores. At the same time, 23 foreign players also became rich in the auction.The busiest team in the auction was UP Warriors, which placed bets on a total of 17 players. Gujarat Giants also included a total of 16 players in their team from the auction. Royal Challengers Bangalore also managed to buy 12 players.
