The Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) have appointed Carl Crowe as their new spin bowling coach on November 25 ahead of the IPL 2026 season.
The franchise confirmed the appointment through an announcement on their official X handle.
The former England cricketer with Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) in 2024, when they won their third title. Since his retirement from professional cricket, Carl Crowe has built a strong reputation across franchise competitions such as Big Bash League, the T20 Blast and the Global T20 canada.
Crowe is the second former KKR coach to join LSG. Earlier, Bharat Arun was named bowling coach of the Lucknow Super Giants and Crowe will reunite at LSG.
Justin Langer-led coaching team, which includes Tom Moody as Director of Cricket and Kane Williamson as strategic advisor.
Carl Crowe, who has the origins from England, has never played international cricket, but has a decent domestic career, taking 60 wickets in 42 FC games and 33 wickets in 40 List A games.
He also played in a T20 game scoring 9 runs. Crowe has worked with several budding cricketers in the IPL, but his most noticeable work with Varun Chakravarthy who has reaching top form in his career.

The franchise has six slots to fill the squad with four players available for overseas players, and Lucknow will enter the auction with a budget of INR 22.95 crore.
