Veteran actor Dharmendra has passed away. 89 year old Dharmendra breathed his last at his home on Monday afternoon. His funeral took place at the Vile Parle cremation ground, in which many celebs including Salman Khan, Sanjay Dutt, Amitabh Bachchan, Aamir Khan were arriving. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has called the demise of veteran actor Dharmendra a sign of the end of an era.
Dharmendra’s family did not officially confirm his demise. An ambulance arrived outside his house in the afternoon and security was increased at the Vile Parle cremation ground. After this his mortal remains were taken to the crematorium in an ambulance.

Dharmendra was suffering from age diseases for some time. On November 10, he had difficulty in breathing, after which he was admitted to Breach Candy Hospital in Mumbai. During this time he was kept on ventilator. The news of his demise also appeared in the media, which was denied by the family. On November 12, Dharmendra was discharged from the hospital and the doctors advised him to undergo further treatment at home.
