Delhi: The marriage of Indian women’s cricket team star player Smriti Mandhana and music composer Palash Muchhal was to take place on November 23, but due to a sudden medical emergency, the marriage has been postponed indefinitely. First, Smriti’s father Srinivas Mandhana fell ill and had to be taken to the hospital.
Palash also admitted to hospital
Some time after the cricketer’s father was admitted, news came that Palash Muchhal’s health also deteriorated and he too had to be admitted to the hospital.
According to the report, Palash was suffering from viral infection and high acidity. After treatment, he was discharged and returned to the hotel. Smriti’s manager told that her father’s health had suddenly deteriorated on Sunday morning. The family doctor told that he had chest pain and the tests found increased cardiac enzymes, hence he has been kept under the observation of doctors. It is expected that he may be discharged today if the situation improves.
The situation is critical right now, so the family has decided to postpone all the rituals and the wedding date. The new date will be decided only after Smriti’s father’s health improves.
