India Out From Asia Cup Rising Stars 2025: The journey of the Indian team in the Asia Cup Rising Star being played in Doha has ended. India A had to face embarrassment in the semi-final match against Bangladesh A and had to face defeat in the super over in a close match.

Bangladesh A, batting first, scored 194/6 in 20 overs, in reply India A also scored 194/6. However, India A had to face defeat in the Super Over.

Bangladesh gave a difficult target to India due to Mehrob’s stormy batting.

Bangladesh had a good start after losing the toss and coming to bat first. The opening pair of Habibul Rehman Sohan and Zeeshan Alam made a partnership of 43 runs in 4.2 overs for the first wicket. Zeeshan was out after scoring 26 runs in 14 balls with the help of two fours and two sixes. After this, the next three batsmen of Bangladesh could together contribute only 22 runs, due to which the score became 119/4.

Habibul Rehman Sohan completed his half-century but then he too was out after scoring 65 runs in 46 balls. His innings included three fours and five sixes. With the score being 130/6 in the 17th over, it seemed that Bangladesh team would hardly score around 160 but from here Mehrob turned the tables. Batting in a stormy style, he played an unbeaten inning of 48 runs in just 18 balls and helped his team set the target of 195. For India, Gurjapneet Singh took the maximum of two wickets.

The poor performance of the middle order cost India dearly.

India A had a tremendous start while chasing the target. Vaibhav Suryavanshi Batted in his familiar style and along with Priyansh Arya added 53 runs in 3.4 overs. Suryavanshi played an innings of 38 runs in 15 balls with the help of two fours and four sixes. At the same time, Priyansh scored 44 runs on 23 balls, which also included four fours and three sixes. Naman Dheer could not do anything special and was out after scoring 7 runs in 12 balls.

Captain Jitesh Sharma contributed 33 runs in 23 balls. Ramandeep Singh was out after scoring 17 runs in 11 balls. Ashutosh Sharma also walked out after scoring 13 runs in 6 balls. Nehal Vadhera disappointed the most and he played a very slow inning of 32 not out in 29 balls. India A needed 4 runs to win on the last ball but did not hit a big shot. However, due to poor fielding by Bangladesh, 3 runs were scored and the match was tied.

How was the condition of the super over?

For India A, the pair of captain Jitesh Sharma and Ramandeep Singh came forward in the super over. However, Jitesh was bowled on the very first ball and then Ashutosh Sharma, who came to bat after this, could not do anything and he too was out without making any contribution. In this way, India did not score any runs in the super over.

In reply, Yasir Ali and Zeeshan Alam came to open for Bangladesh A. Yasir could not show anything amazing and was dismissed by Suyyash Sharma on the very first ball. However, the next ball went wide and Bangladesh won the match.
