Lucknow: During the last 24 hours, the weather remained dry in both the meteorological divisions of Uttar Pradesh. Light to moderate fog was recorded at some places in eastern Uttar Pradesh. There was light fog at some places in western Uttar Pradesh. According to the data received, minimum visibility of 400 meters was recorded in Fursatganj (Amethi) and Kanpur Dehat. The maximum and minimum temperatures in the state are below normal. There is pink coolness in the morning and evening due to north-westerly winds.
Ghaziabad most polluted city: According to the data by the Central Pollution Control Department, till 4 pm on Wednesday, the air quality index of Baghpat was recorded at 335, Bulandshahr 336, Ghaziabad 422, Greater Noida 420, Meerut 340, Muzaffarnagar 311, Lucknow 185. Ghaziabad is the most polluted city of Uttar Pradesh. The air here has become poisonous especially for heart and respiratory patients. The Health Department has advised the sick and elderly to use masks when going out. Talking about the capital Lucknow, Lalbagh area is the most polluted, where the air quality index was recorded around 220.

A decrease of 2 degrees Celsius was recorded in the maximum temperature as compared to Tuesday. The maximum temperature recorded was 28 degrees Celsius which is 1 degree Celsius less than normal. At the same time, the minimum temperature was recorded at 13 degrees Celsius, which is almost 1 degree Celsius more than normal.
According to the Meteorological Department, there will be fog on Thursday morning. The sky will be clear during the day. The maximum temperature is likely to be 29 and the minimum temperature is likely to be 14 degrees Celsius.
Etawah is the coldest: Etawah district of Uttar Pradesh remained the coldest on Wednesday. Where the minimum temperature was recorded at 9 degrees Celsius, which is four degrees Celsius less than normal. The highest maximum temperature was recorded in Shahjahanpur at 29.6 degrees Celsius, which is 2 degrees Celsius more than normal.
Meteorologist Dr. Atul Singh said that there will be no significant change in the maximum temperature for the coming seven days. At the same time, after two to three days there will be a decrease of one to two degrees Celsius in the minimum temperature. There will be moderate and light fog during morning and evening.
