Tragic incident in Kanpur: Four laborers who slept after burning coal in their room, died of suffocation.

Kanpur: Four youths sleeping in a factory room in Panki police station area died. When the factory workers knocked on the door of the room on Thursday morning, there was no movement. The factory owner was immediately informed about this. When the room was opened, the dead bodies of all four were found lying there. The door of the room was closed from inside. The police reached the spot and investigated the incident. The bodies have been sent for post-mortem.

Joint Police Commissioner Law and Order Ashutosh Kumar said that the police investigation so far has revealed that the four youths were sleeping after lighting a fire in the room on Wednesday night.

The police officer said that he probably died due to suffocation. The deceased youths have been identified as Amit Verma (32), resident of Ayodhya, Sanju Singh (22), resident of Deoria, Daad Ansari (28) and Rahul Singh (23).

Financial assistance to the families of the deceased: Police Commissioner Raghuveer Lal said that work was going on in the oil seed mill. A total of 7 employees were present there. Three of them had gone out. At night, after having dinner, four youths lit coal inside the room and closed the door from inside.

There was no ventilation of any kind in the room. Burning of coal produced carbon monoxide gas, which the four youths kept inhaling slowly without realizing it. He died during that time.

Forensic investigation of the incident has been completed. Factory owners have been requested to provide as much financial assistance as possible to the families of the deceased employees.

Panic in the factory due to four deaths: Eyewitnesses said that the incident took place at the Oil Seeds Company plant in the industrial area of ​​Panki police station area. On Wednesday night, four youths slept after lighting a fire in a room built here.

On Thursday morning, when the four youths did not come out of the room for a long time, the factory guards and other employees reached the room. He saw that the door of the room was locked from inside. After this the factory owner was informed about this. When the door was broken and seen, all four youths were lying dead.

Suffocated by coal smoke: Joint Police Commissioner said that around 8:30 am on Thursday, police had received information that four employees had died in an oil factory in Industrial Area Side-2 of Panki area. He said that investigation revealed that the employees had burnt coal in a closed room.

He died due to lack of oxygen. Police have collected evidence from the spot with the help of forensics. Post mortem is being conducted. The police have informed the families of the deceased. Further legal action is being taken.
