There will be no series against this country

A major change has been seen in Indian women's cricket, where the Bangladesh women's team's tour of India in December has been postponed. Three ODI and three T20 matches were to be played during this series.

This T20 series played between the two teams was to be India's last T20 series before the Women's Premier League 2026. At the same time, with the ODI series, the teams of India and Bangladesh were to start the new Women's ODI Championship cycle. But it is believed that this decision has been taken keeping in mind the political turmoil in Bangladesh.

The men's team tour was also canceled

Earlier, BCCI had also postponed the Indian men's team's tour of Bangladesh. Three ODI and three T20 matches were to be played between the two teams in August 2025. The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) and Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) had taken this decision with mutual consent. This tour has been postponed for a whole year. Which will now be postponed till September 2026.
