The effect of severe cold is being felt in many areas of the country at this time. The Meteorological Department has issued a warning of worsening weather in four states for the coming few days. According to this, there may be heavy rain in some parts of South Indian states Tamil Nadu and Kerala on November 16. At the same time, there is a possibility of torrential rain in Andhra Pradesh and Andaman and Nicobar Islands between 16 and 18 November. On the other hand, many states of North India like Bihar, Uttar Pradesh and Delhi may see a sharp drop in temperature in the morning and the minimum temperature may go below 10 degrees Celsius. Snowfall alert has been issued in Uttarakhand and Himachal Pradesh.

Delhi

Cold winds will blow in the capital Delhi on the morning of 16 November and the minimum temperature may fall to around 9 degrees Celsius. The temperature will increase slightly during the day and the maximum temperature is expected to be around 26 degrees Celsius. The wind speed can range from 15 to 20 kilometers per hour, which will further increase the effect of cold.

Uttar Pradesh

There is a possibility of cold wave in many districts of Uttar Pradesh from November 16. The Meteorological Department has given an alert of cold and strong winds in the morning and evening. During this period the minimum temperature is expected to reach 13 degrees Celsius. Fog may also occur in some districts due to winter.

Bihar

Cold will increase rapidly in Bihar from 16th November. Cold winds will blow in the morning and night in many districts of Seemanchal including Patna, Gaya, Bhojpur and Buxar. According to the Meteorological Department, the effect of cold wave is being felt only in this period of November, due to which the temperature continues to fall.

Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan

There will be a drop in temperature in both these states from November 16. The minimum temperature can go up to around 11 degrees Celsius, while the maximum temperature during the day is expected to be between 21 to 23 degrees Celsius. Due to continuous cold winds, the onset of winter will become more intense in these areas.

Uttarakhand

There is a possibility of snowfall in Uttarakhand from November 16. Tourists can enjoy snow falling in hilly areas. The maximum temperature here is expected to be around 23 degrees Celsius and the minimum temperature is expected to be around 9 degrees Celsius.
