There is something amazing in Vaibhav Suryavanshi's century (Photo: BCCI)
Vaibhav Suryavanshi Century Story: His guru was fully confident that Vaibhav Suryavanshi would score a century in the Rising Stars Asia Cup. He had also told about this in a conversation with TV9 Hindi before the start of the tournament. He even predicted how soon Vaibhav Suryavanshi would score a century? But, who knew that Vaibhav Suryavanshi would turn out to be even faster than his guru had predicted? Even the Guru's predictions will fail before him.
Guru means coach Manish Ojha. Vaibhav has been taking cricket coaching from Manish Ojha since he was 8 years old. Before the start of the Rising Stars Asia Cup, TV9 Hindi spoke to Manish Ojha. When we asked him whether he sees a century from Vaibhav's bat in this tournament? So his answer was yes. But Manish Ojha did not stop just by agreeing. Regarding his trusted disciple i.e. Vaibhav Suryavanshi, he said, what about 100 runs, he will score more than 100. And, in the match in which he does this, he will do the work for 12 to 13 overs.
It seemed as if Vaibhav Suryavanshi had listened to the words of his guru and coach Manish Ojha, that is why without making him wait, he scored a century in the very first match of the Rising Stars Asia Cup. And, not only scored a century but also made some of the things told by his coach come true and in some cases even failed his predictions.
Vaibhav Suryavanshi scored 144 runs in 42 balls with 15 sixes and 11 fours in the first match played against UAE. During this, he completed his century in 32 balls.
This was not only Vaibhav Suryavanshi's first T20 match in India's jersey at any level. In fact, it was also the first century scored in it. Simply put, he scored a century in his debut T20 innings in the blue jersey itself. Now, by doing this, let us know which things of his guru i.e. Manish Ojha that Vaibhav Suryavanshi proved to be true and which conjectures were wrong? What coach Manish Ojha said that Vaibhav will score more than 100 runs, not 100, proved to be right. But, his prediction regarding Vaibhav scoring a century in 12 to 13 overs failed.
Because, Vaibhav Suryavanshi turned out to be faster than Guru's estimate. He completed his century in the 10th over itself.
