The two-match Test series between India and South Africa is going to start from 14th November. In the first match of the series, both the teams will face each other at the historic Eden Garden Stadium in Kolkata. The Indian team will play Test cricket on this ground after a long wait of 6 years. But the real shine of this match will be the playing eleven of Team India. In which 9 such players will be selected who will make a special debut. Indian captain Shubman Gill is also one of these 9 players.

9 Indian players will have a special debut

In the 14-member squad selected by the Indian selectors for this Test match, there are only two players who have had the experience of a Test match at Eden Garden. These two experienced names are KL Rahul and Ravindra Jadeja. It is almost certain that both the players will get a place in the playing eleven. Rahul's batting stability and Jadeja's all-round ability can prove to be important for the team.

The remaining 12 players are completely unaware of the threat of Test cricket on this ground. If any of them is selected in the playing eleven, a total of nine players will play their first Test match at Eden Garden.

The Garden of Eden has a glorious history. India has recorded many memorable victories here, but the return of the Test match after six years will present a new challenge for the team. However, the recent performance of the Indian Test team has been quite excellent, hence a strong performance is expected from Team India in this series also.

These players may get a chance in playing 11

It is considered certain that Yashasvi Jaiswal will get a chance along with KL Rahul as an opener in this match.

At the same time, Sai Sudarshan can be seen at number three. Captain Shubman Gill is fixed at number four. At the same time, batsman Rishabh Pant is going to return as wicketkeeper, who has returned after recovering from injury. Dhruv Jurel can be seen at number six. After this, Ravindra Jadeja, Washington Sundar and Akshar Patel can become part of the playing 11 as all-rounders. The command of fast bowling will be in the hands of Jasprit Bumrah, with whom Mohammad Siraj is considered the first choice.
