Pitch report

The square at the D.Y. Patil Stadium in Navi Mumbai has seen only four WODIs played on it. The consistent pace and bounce on offer at the venue makes it one of the better stadiums across the Women’s World Cup 2025 for batters.

The faster bowlers will get some movement in the air early on with the new ball, but the pitch is expected to assist the spinners once the ball becomes old. Out of the 45 wickets that have fallen, 29 have been picked by the tweakers.

Batting sides have put up 300+ totals thrice in the ongoing edition of the World Cup. India’s 341/5 which it managed in the successful chase against Australia in the semifinal is the highest total posted at this ground.
