India vs South Africa 2025 Full Schedule, Match Start Time: After a strong performance on the Australia tour, Team India is now going to play a 2-match Test series against South Africa at home. This series is going to start from November 14, where the Indian team under the captaincy of Shubman Gill will face the World Test Champion. This series is very important for both the teams keeping in mind the World Test Championship 2025-27. The Indian team is going to have an eye on entering the top-2.
The first match of the Test series between India and South Africa will be played at the historic Eden Garden Stadium in Kolkata from 14th November. This match will start at 9.30 am according to Indian time. At the same time, it will happen half an hour before the match i.e. at 9 o'clock. At the same time, the second match of this series will be played at Barsapara Cricket Stadium in Guwahati. This match will start from 22nd November.
So far 44 test matches have been played between India and South Africa in test cricket. Of these, the South African team has won 18 matches. At the same time, 16 matches have been in the name of the Indian team. On the other hand, a total of 19 test matches have taken place between the two teams in India. Out of these, Team India was successful in winning 11 matches and South Africa has won only 5 matches. Three test matches have been drawn. But the big thing is that South Africa last defeated India in a Test match at home in 2010. That means Africa has not won any test match in India for 15 years.
