Lucknow: On Monday, 29 April, Delhi Capitals (DC) lost by 7 wickets in the match played against Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) at Eden Garden. Seeing this defeat of Delhi, former Indian batsman Mohammad Kaif has blamed it on captain Rishabh Pant. He believes that Pant made some mistakes in his captaincy, due to which DC had to face defeat because he did not score many runs. Let us tell you that in this match DC's batting proved to be a huge flop and they could score only 153 runs.
Despite scoring low, Pant did not use his spinners in the powerplay, whereas the spin bowlers were getting help there. He decided to go with the fast bowlers in the first 6 overs and this is where he made a big mistake. The result was that Kolkata had scored 79 runs in the powerplay itself without losing any wicket. Kaif has given a big statement during the discussion on Rishabh's captaincy on Star Sports.

In such a situation, Pant should have bowled the first 6 overs before these two. Delhi had not scored many runs in this match and in such a situation Pant should have taken a brave step.
