BCCI vs PCB : Pakistan Cricket Board has made a big announcement regarding Champions Trophy 2025. According to PCB Chief Mohsin Naqvi, there are three such venues which have currently been selected for the Champions Trophy. PCB has sent these three venues to ICC. These three venues are Lahore, Karachi and Rawalpindi. According to reports, India's matches have also been scheduled here. Now it remains to be seen what response comes from BCCI after this announcement by Pakistan.

Actually, this time Pakistan is hosting the Champions Trophy but the biggest question regarding India is whether the Indian team will go there to play. Pakistan was also supposed to host the Asia Cup but then the Indian team refused to play there and after that Pakistan had to organize India's matches in Sri Lanka.

PCB Chairman Mohsin Naqvi made a big revelation regarding the schedule and venues of the Champions Trophy in a press conference in Lahore. They said,

We have sent the schedule of the ICC Champions Trophy to the ICC. The ICC security team came here and our meeting was very good. He took stock of the arrangements here and we also shared information with him regarding the upgradation of the stadium. We are in constant touch with ICC. We are trying our best to organize a great tournament in Pakistan.

India last toured Pakistan in 2008, when the Asia Cup was played. Since then, Pakistan team has visited India thrice for ICC events. However, for the first time now a major ICC event will be organized in Pakistan and it will be interesting to see what is the stand of BCCI this time. The Indian team will be able to go to Pakistan only after getting approval from the government.

A few days ago, it was reported that PCB Chief Mohsin Naqvi wants assurance from India to come to Pakistan to play in the Champions Trophy. However, no such assurance has been given by BCCI yet.
