Pakistan Cricket Board has selected Lahore

The Champions Trophy, which was last held in England in 2017, is likely to be held in February-March next year.

Pakistan Cricket Board News In Hindi: Pakistan Cricket Board has selected Karachi, Lahore and Rawalpindi for next year's Champions Trophy. Amid speculation of a hybrid model to ensure India's participation, the PCB has said that the tournament will be held only in Pakistan.

The Champions Trophy, which was last held in England in 2017, is likely to be held in February-March next year.

India has not yet confirmed its participation and there is speculation that the ICC may use a hybrid model to shift India's matches to a neutral venue if the Indian team does not receive government approval. The ICC has made it clear that it will not ask any member country to violate its official policy.

PCB Chairman Mohsin Naqvi said, “We have sent the schedule of ICC Champions Trophy matches. The meeting with the ICC security team went well. They reviewed the arrangements and we also gave them all the information.'' Last year's Asia Cup was also held on a hybrid model, with India's matches played in Sri Lanka while Pakistan was the official host.
