Gold Coast. The fourth T20 match between India and Australia will be played here on Thursday. So far both the teams are tied at 1-1 in the series. In such a situation, this match will be very important for both the teams. In this, the winning team will get the lead in the series. The first match of the series could not be played due to rain while the second was won by host Australia. The Indian team has won the third match. In this match, all eyes will be on opening batsman Shubman Gill. Shubman has not been able to play a big innings even once in this series. The Indian team seems to have the upper hand in this match because many Australian players are out of it to prepare for the Ashes series.

In the last match, the bowling of the host team was weak due to the absence of Josh Hazlewood. Opener Travis Head will also not be there in this match. He is playing in the Sheffield Shield to prepare for the Ashes. Due to the absence of many big players in the Australian team, this is the best opportunity for the Indian team to win this match and take the lead in the series.

The concern of the Indian team is Shubman’s form. He has not been able to score a single half-century in six matches in the current tour of Australia. He failed in the ODI series also. At the same time, he could not score runs in both the matches of the T20 series.

Shubman is having trouble with full length balls, which are showing glimpses of movement. The matter of concern is that Shubman has not been seen in his traditional style yet. The positive side of the Indian team is that opener Abhishek Sharma is in good form right now. The team will once again expect aggressive innings from him. Shubman has to play South Africa after this series, hence he will have to score runs to regain his rhythm.
Captain Suryakumar Yadav had made a good start in the first and third matches, which he would now like to convert into a big score. At the same time, the bowling of the Indian team will be better with the inclusion of left arm fast bowler Arshdeep Singh.

With the presence of spin all-rounder Washington Sundar, the Indian batting will be strong even at the lower order. Washington had scored unbeaten 49 runs in 23 balls in the last match.
On the other hand, the batting of the host team will depend on captain Mitchell Marsh and Tim David. In the absence of Head, Matthew Short can play as the opening partner in this match with Marsh. Australia will have to make changes in its bowling department as Sean Abbott has not been able to perform as per expectations. In such a situation, either Ben Dwarshuis or Mahali Beardman can be included.

The teams are as follows:
India: Suryakumar Yadav (captain), Abhishek Sharma, Shubhman Gill (vice-captain), Tilak Verma, Nitish Kumar Reddy, Shivam Dubey, Axar Patel, Jitesh Sharma (wicketkeeper), Varun Chakravarthy, Jasprit Bumrah, Arshdeep Singh, Harshit Rana, Sanju Samson (wicketkeeper), Rinku Singh, Washington Sundar.

Australia: Mitchell Marsh (captain), Matthew Short, Josh Inglis (wk), Josh Philippe (wk), Mitchell Owen, Glenn Maxwell, Matt Kuhneman, Adam Zampa, Mahali Beardman, Ben Dwarshis, Xavier Bartlett, Nathan Ellis, Marcus Stoinis.
