Delhi: India’s bowling coach Morne Morkel has given information about the fitness of Nitish Kumar Reddy. Reddy was out of the first three matches of the five-match T20 series because he had neck cramps. Morkel said that he has completed all the necessary work in the practice session. Now the final decision will be taken after his final fitness assessment.
Merkel gives update on Reddy’s fitness
Reddy was recovering from a left thigh injury suffered in the second ODI in Adelaide. After this, he complained of neck cramps just before the first T20 match in Canberra, which delayed his return. The 22-year-old all-rounder was seen batting and preparing in the team’s nets session.
Morkel said that today he completed all the tasks of fielding, batting and bowling. Now his playing condition will be clear only after evaluation.
BCCI had informed just before the first T20 match that Reddy is out of the first three T20 matches. The medical team is monitoring his progress.

The series is currently level at 1-1. The first match was canceled due to rain. India had taken the lead by winning the second match, but Australia has achieved parity by winning the third match. Both the teams will now try to win the series by winning the remaining two matches.
