Before the decisive match on Saturday, India captain Harmanpreet Kaur shared her resolve. He said that his team has already seen the pain of defeat on the big stage, but is now ready to enjoy victory.
Harmanpreet expressed hope of winning the final
Harmanpreet said, “We know what defeat means. Now we are ready to experience victory. We have worked very hard and tomorrow we have to do everything only for the team.”
He said that the team does not need any additional motivation. “When you are on a stage like the World Cup final, there can be no greater motivation than this. The team is fully prepared and the players are supporting each other.”
The captain also praised the South African team. “Their team has played excellent cricket. The initial games were not easy for them, but they made a great comeback in this tournament.”
Kaur also emphasized on the struggle and belief of the team. “Even after three initial defeats, we did not waver from our goal. This positive thinking took us to the final.
