According to this report, Delhi Capitals (DC) is trying to bring Samson into the team, but it is not in favor of trading any of its key players. Rajasthan had initially asked for KL Rahul from Delhi in exchange for Samson, but Delhi rejected the offer. Later, Rajasthan agreed to give Samson in exchange for Stubbs, but also demanded an uncapped player, which was rejected by Delhi.
Not only this, this report also says that Rajasthan had also talked to Chennai Super Kings regarding Sanju, in which the swap with Ravindra Jadeja was discussed. However, Chennai showed no interest in this and the talks could not progress further.
If this trade with Tristan is completed, then Samson can be seen in the jersey of Delhi Capitals after seven years.
