IND-W vs SA-W Final: All tickets for the final were sold within minutes, fans are expressing anger on social media

IND-W vs SA-W Final: The title match of Women's ODI World Cup 2025 will be played between India and South Africa on Sunday, November 2. Fans are very excited about this match to be played at DY Patil Sports Stadium in Navi Mumbai. For this reason, all the tickets for the title match were sold within a few minutes. After this, fans are expressing their displeasure on social media for not getting tickets. During this time, a huge crowd of fans has gathered outside the DY Patil Sports Stadium.

All tickets sold out within minutes

Women's ODI World Cup Tickets for the final on Saturday, November 1 went live on BookMyShow and sold out within minutes. The fans became very disappointed by this. However, according to reports, ticket booking on the official ticketing partner BookMyShow did not start till October 31 and suddenly on November 1, all the tickets were sold out. Fans are very angry with this.

Earlier, at 12 noon on October 22, BookMyShow informed fans on social media platform X that the sale of tickets for the Women's World Cup final will start at 6 pm. This special pre-sale was to be held between 22-24 October.

The general sale was to start on October 24 at 7 pm. Although some fans managed to book tickets during this period, what happened next made the fans angry with BookMyShow, BCCI and ICC.

Tickets for the final match were not seen live.

Ever since India and South Africa Since the team made it to the finals, the sale of tickets on this platform has not gone live even once. Instead, upon checking on both BookMyShow's mobile application and website, the message 'Coming Soon' was visible. This was the situation till 31st October.

When trying to book tickets for the final on Saturday, 1 November, a 'sold out' message appeared on BookMyShow, leaving fans angry and disappointed. On the other hand, while tickets worth Rs 150 are either sold out or not available due to technical glitches, tickets worth Rs 7500 (probably VIP boxes) are shown to be available on BookMyShow, but when I try to book, the tickets are not being booked.

Fans appealed to BCCI

According to TOI reports, tickets for the final of the Women's ODI World Cup 2025 were reportedly sold 8 days before November 1, i.e. on October 24. This was the same day when general sales started and that too at a time when it was not confirmed that India would reach the final. Frustrated at not getting tickets, fans took to social media platform

Fans also told that the tickets, whose price was earlier between Rs 150-500, were increased drastically just two days before the event.

Meanwhile, a huge crowd was seen outside the DY Patil Stadium. Long queues for tickets were seen in many videos on social media.
