KKR want KL Rahul
Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) are interested in KL Rahul as they need a captain and a top-order batter in their squad. Kolkata’s new head coach Abhishek Nayar and Rahul share a close bond.
However, KKR don’t have a player who can join Delhi in return. Andre Russell is one of the big names, but DC are looking for youth. Rinku Singh and Varun Chakravarthy are star players, but Kolkata will not allow one of them to leave. KKR will release their most expensive signing, Venkatesh Iyer, but he is not likely to attract any interest in a trade deal. The three-time champions will go after Cameron Green.
