Her match-winning knock helped India successfully chase a massive 339, setting a new record for the highest-ever successful chase in Women’s World Cup history.

Jemimah Rodrigues overcame emotion as she was applauded by her teammates after a stellar performance in the middle. She celebrated with her signature guitar gesture, a symbol of her unique style. In a huddle, she fired up the team, stating, “This is our pitch, and we won’t let anyone take it from us.”

“We discussed it in the dressing room. This is our ground, and we can’t let anyone come in and take what’s rightfully ours. It’s our home, and our goal is to dominate here and play our best cricket,” Jemimah said.

Jemimah Rodrigues played a key role in stabilising India’s innings, forging a massive 167-run partnership with captain Harmanpreet Kaur off 156 balls.
