Yuvraj Singh News: Team India’s former star player Yuvraj Singh is about to enter the coaching field. It is reported that IPL franchise Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) is approaching him to make him the new head coach of the team. Currently the coach of the team is former Australian player Justin Langer, but according to reports, team owner Sanjeev Goenka now wants to hand over the command of the team to an Indian.

According to media reports, talks are going on between Yuvraj Singh and LSG. If this deal is confirmed, it will prove to be a big step in the field of coaching in the history of IPL. Although Yuvraj has not worked as a head coach of any professional team, he has played the role of a mentor in the Abu Dhabi T10 League.

Apart from this, he has been training young players for a long time, which includes Shubman Gill and Abhishek Sharma. Currently he is also working with new young players like Priyansh Arya and Prabhsimran Singh.

This is not the first time that Yuvraj Singh’s name is being associated with an IPL team. Last season, there were reports that if Gujarat Titans (GT) had parted ways with Ashish Nehra, Yuvraj could have been taken in his place. Similarly, in Delhi Capitals (DC), Yuvraj’s name was discussed in place of Ricky Ponting, but ultimately the team appointed Hemang Badani as the coach.

LSG, which joined the IPL in 2022, made the playoffs in the first two seasons, but after that the team finished seventh twice. Due to this, many changes have been made in the team management.
