Phoebe Litchfield made a stellar knock of 119 runs off 93 deliveries, guiding Australia to post a mammoth total against India in the Women’s ODI World Cup 2025 on October 30 at Navi Mumbai.

Australia lost all 10 wickets despite scoring 338 runs in their innings, putting up dominance at the knockout stages of the tournament.

After choosing to bat first, Australia’s openers Alyssa Healy and Phoebe Litchfield made a decent start, scoring 25 runs in 5 overs before they lost the wicket of Healy for 5 runs.

The rain stopped the game after the completion of the 5th over; however, the umpires decided to continue the game, where Kranti Gaud bagged the wicket of Healy.

Right after the dismissal, the rain got heavier and forced the stoppage of the game. The rain stopped eventually, and the game is set to resume at 03:40 PM IST.

Resuming the game, Ellyse Perry and Phoebe Litchfield shifted to top gear, stitching a 155 run partnership for the 2nd wicket.

Litchfield went on to smash a century and scored 119 runs off 93 deliveries, which included 17 fours and 3 sixes.

Meanwhile, Ellyse Perry went on to smash fifty and while Shree Charani dismissed Beth Mooney and Annabel Sutherland got dismissed for 24 and 3 runs respectively.

With Tahlia McGarth dismissed on a run out for 12 runs, Ash Gardner and Kim Garth are aiming to forge a partnership to guide the side to breach the 300-run mark.

Ash Gardner acce to 63 runs before being dismissed on a run out. With her dismissal, Alana King and Sophie Molinuex dismissed for 4 and duck resectively.

With Kim Garth’s 17 runs, Australia went on to score 338 runs against India in the high octane semi finals games of the Women’s ODI World Cup 2025.

Speaking at the toss, Alyssa Healy said, “We gonna have bat. Great conditions here and an opportunity for us to put runs on the board. I am grateful for the opportunity to get that 10-day break for the rehab.”

“It is a semi-final, and it’s basically whoever plays better will get the result. Just one other change. Sophie Molineux comes in for Wareham,” concluded Healy.

Meanwhile, Harmanpreet Kaur said, “We were looking to bat first. If we get an early breakthrough, that would be great for us. We know this pitch, we had so many camps here and also played our last 2 games here. Whenever we play Australia, we talk about going with a fearless mindset. Unfortunately, Pratika is not there because of her injury.”
