Lucknow: Veteran batsman Virat Kohli has fiercely targeted those who question his strike rate. Kohli says that people talk a lot against his game and talk about not playing well against spin. However, my entire focus is on helping the team win. Let us tell you that in T-20 cricket, many veteran players often raise questions about Virat's strike rate. Apart from this, due to this reason Virat always remains a topic of discussion among the fans but now he has given a befitting reply.

The 35-year-old has scored at a strike rate of around 150 in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024 but it is still discussed. Apart from this, he is said to be weak against spinners because Virat's record against left-arm spinners has been a bit bad, due to which it is discussed. So this season too, Kohli has been out once against left arm spin. However, while talking to the broadcasters after winning the match against Gujarat Titans, Kohli gave a befitting reply.

He said, “People who talk about my strike rate and my not playing spin are only doing the same. The only thing for me is that the team has to win matches and that is why I have done it for the last 15 years. You have done this work every day and won matches for the team. I am not satisfied that if you are sitting outside in the box and are not in that situation yourself then talk about it.”

Virat further said, “People keep saying such things about me every day and they have created such a perception about me. “However, the people who are saying such things also know what is happening and now it is all like muscle memory for me.”
