However, Ruturaj Gaikwad’s century in the first innings earned him the Player of the Match recognition. Showing admirable camaraderie, the CSK captain selflessly shared the award with Shaw in a fine show of team spirit.

Ruturaj Gaikwad anchored Maharashtra’s innings with a commanding 116, helping his side secure a crucial first-innings lead against Chandigarh. Prithvi Shaw later stole the show, scoring a brilliant 222 from just 156 balls.
