The knife attack that took place amidst the excitement of the game in the football stadium of Bengaluru suddenly spread panic. Besides, questions were also raised on the security of the stadium. All this happened because of a fight over a woman. The scene of knife attack was seen during the match between Bengaluru United and Sporting Club in the KSFA Super Division League. According to the police, the attack was carried out on local footballer Satya, who had a fight with a man named Mathew over a woman in Ulloor last Sunday.

Eyewitnesses told the situation of the incident

According to eyewitnesses present in the stadium, about 6 people were running behind Satya in the stadium. They are following him. He also had weapons like knives, which he hid inside his clothes. According to people, this incident happened in the first half of the match.

According to eyewitnesses, Satya ran towards the basement to hide from the attackers. But, an attacker reached there following him. Ultimately the attackers had to retreat after KSFA officials raised an alarm. The police was informed about this entire incident.

But, before the police could reach there, the attackers escaped.

What came to light in the police investigation?

According to the police, Satya and Mathew do not have any criminal record. The police is trying to find out whether any complaint against these two was registered earlier in Ulloor.

Panic due to third incident, demand to increase security

Team officials are frightened by this incident that happened in the stadium and have demanded to provide more security. According to team officials, this is the third such incident in and around the stadium in the last few years.

This shows that the security here is not perfect yet. Anyone can come in easily. In such a situation, this situation is not free from danger. He expressed hope that KSFA will soon take some major steps to prevent such accidents further.
