India entered the Women’s ODI World Cup 2025 semifinals after beating New Zealand in its penultimate league stage fixture by 53 runs (DLS method) on Thursday in Navi Mumbai.

This is the fifth time that the Women in Blue have reached the last four stage, having done so previously in the 1997, 2000, 2005 and 2017 editions. In the ongoing edition, India will face Australia in the semifinals.
