Delhi: The 28th and last league stage match of the ICC Women’s World Cup 2025 is being played between the teams of India and Bangladesh at the DY Patil Stadium in Navi Mumbai on Sunday. Indian captain Harmanpreet Kaur won the toss and decided to bowl first.

Rain disrupted the match

Due to rain the match could not start on time. It was initially reduced to 43-43 overs, but due to rain again in between, the game was interrupted once again. After this the match was reduced to 27-27 overs. The game finally started at 8.05 pm.

Bangladesh’s innings faltered, three wickets fell

Bangladesh’s batting did not start well. Opener Sumaiya Akhtar became the victim of Renuka Singh after scoring only 2 runs. Whereas Rubia Haider Jhelik scored 13 runs and was out on the ball of Deepti Sharma. Captain Nigar Sultana also got run out and returned to the pavilion on a personal score of 9 runs.
