Kiran Navgire, who had recently broken the record for the fastest-ever century in women’s T20s, guided Maharashtra to a nine-wicket win over Mumbai in a Super League stage fixture of the Senior Women’s T20 Trophy 2025 on Saturday.
At the C. K. Pithawala Ground in Surat, Kiran’s unbeaten 96 off 42 balls helped her side chase down 159 in 15.1 overs.
Amongst other matches on the day, the fixture between Shafali Verma-led Haryana and Railways was abandoned after the latter had amassed 205 for four in 20 overs.
The match between Vidarbha and Madhya Pradesh, scheduled to take place at the Lalbhai Contractor Stadium in Surat, was also abandoned without a ball being bowled.
