Graeme Cremer returns after seven years: Zimbabwe announced its team for the T20 series against Afghanistan. Graeme Cremer's return to Zimbabwe's 15-man squad has surprised everyone. Graeme Creamer had distanced himself from cricket for the sake of his family. But, now after 7 years this leg spinner has once again got a chance to play cricket for Zimbabwe. The T20 series between Zimbabwe and Afghanistan is starting from 29 October.

Played first first class match with India A

Graeme Cremer's cricket story has been interesting from the beginning. His cricket career started with first class matches. He played his first first class match for Zimbabwe Select at the age of 18 against India A in Harare. After playing 5 more first class matches, Kramer got a place in Zimbabwe's Test team. In 2005, at the age of 19, he made his debut in international cricket through a test match.

Left cricket for the sake of family

Graeme Cremer played his last international match as an ODI against UAE in 2018. But, after Zimbabwe failed to qualify for the ODI World Cup in 2019, Graeme Cremer distanced himself from cricket. Graeme Cremer had to shift to Dubai due to family commitments and left cricket.

Kramer returned to the team after 7 years

However, now his return to international cricket after 7 years has not only strengthened the Zimbabwean team. Rather, he has also got an experienced player. Talking about Graeme Cremer's international career, he has taken 57 wickets in 19 tests. He has taken 119 wickets in 96 ODIs played for Zimbabwe.

He has been selected for the T20 series against Afghanistan. In this shortest format of cricket, he has played 29 matches so far for Zimbabwe, in which he has taken 35 wickets. That means overall, Graeme Cremer has the experience of taking 212 wickets in 144 international matches.

ZIM vs AFG T20 Series Schedule

The first match of the T20 series between Zimbabwe and Afghanistan will be played on 29 October. The second match will be held on 31 October while the third and last match will be held on 2 November. These three matches will be played in Harare.
