Ramgarh, 24 October (Read News). A two-day puja ceremony was organized by the Kayastha community at the Chitragupt temple located in Bijulia Chitragupt Nagar of the city. The puja ceremony concluded on Friday with evening aarti and immersion of the urn. On Friday, the second day of the celebrations, worship and aarti of Lord Chitragupta and Mother Durga was performed. The puja program was conducted by priest Sanoj Kumar Pandey and hosted by host Rohit Kumar Verma.

Only unity will bring strength in Kayastha family

The meeting of Chitragupta Mahaparivar was conducted by District President of All India Kayastha Mahasabha, Arun Kumar Sinha. In the meeting he said that Lord Chitragupta keeps track of the deeds of all the people. Our society is completely united in the district. Through Chitragupta Mahaparivar, he is continuously working towards strengthening the organization of the society in the district. In the course of the meeting, details of last year’s income and expenditure were presented. Besides, the old committee was dissolved and the office bearers of the new session were elected, in which Deepak Kumar Sinha was elected the working president of the committee. Rohit Kumar Verma has been made General Secretary, Abhishek Kumar Sinha as Treasurer, Umesh Sinha in charge of media.

Children honored in the competition: On this occasion, various types of competitions were organized among the children of the society. Children who performed better in the competition were honored with prizes.

Patron Prof Shyam Kishore Prasad, Dr K Chandra, Dr BB Prasad, Dr ND Sahay, Vinod Kumar Srivastava, Rananjay Kumar, Dilip Kumar, Rajesh Kumar, Dr Uday Srivastava, President Deepak Kumar Sinha, Sanjeev Kumar Srivastava, Sanjay Sinha, Anil Sinha and others were present on the occasion.
