Uttarkashi, 20 October (Read News). On Monday morning, a dumper vehicle went out of control in Jata near the stone crusher near Naugaon in the district and fell into a ditch about 100 meters deep in the Yamuna river. The driver died on the spot in this accident.

The incident took place on Monday near Jata Stone Crusher at Naugaon, dumper vehicle number – UK 07-CD-3406 which met with an accident in the early hours of today.

On information, police, SDRF and fire service team reached the spot. Local people and the police team conducted a joint rescue operation and took the body from the Yamuna river to the road. The body has been sent to Community Health Center Naugaon for postmortem.

The driver of the dumper, Jagdeep son of Chain Singh (30), resident of village Sunara, Purola, died on the spot.
