Former Indian cricket team's veteran spinner Ravichandran Ashwin recently narrowly escaped becoming a victim of an online fraud. The message coming from a fake number on WhatsApp surprised him, but Ashwin not only saved himself with his wisdom but also taught the swindler a lesson in a funny way.

Actually, this matter started when Ashwin received a message on WhatsApp from an unknown number. The person sending the message, posing as Australian cricketer Adam Zampa, asked Ashwin for the personal phone numbers of Indian players. This person tried to ask for the numbers of players like Abhishek Sharma, Jasprit Bumrah, Sanju Samson, Jitesh Sharma, Rinku Singh and Shivam Dubey.
He wrote, 'Brother, please share the numbers of these players, I need it.' But Ashwin immediately got wind of this fraud.After catching this fraud, Ashwin chose to respond in a funny manner instead of taking it seriously. He replied to the thug, 'I am sending the list of numbers soon.' Then he asked the opposite question, 'Do you have MS Dhoni's number?' On this, the fake person immediately shared a number with MS Dhoni's name written on it. Instead of taking this conversation further, Ashwin shared it through a video on social media, in which he narrated the entire story of this fraud with the fans.
