Delhi: In the 45th match of the Indian Premier League (IPL 2024) being played at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad, Royal Challenger Bangalore (RCB) has won the toss and decided to bowl first against Gujarat Titans (GT). Star all-rounder Glenn Maxwell has returned to the RCB team. He had asked for a break from IPL a few days ago. In such a situation, his inclusion in the playing eleven is quite interesting.

What did the two captains say?
Shubman Gill, GT: “You could have chased, the wicket is looking really good. There is a need to put a good total on the board. We have batted well, in the last match we lost by just one ball. “This is the right time for us to rise to the top.”

Faf du Plessis, RCB: “The wicket will be better later, so we would like to chase the target. With so many high scores the nature of the game has changed. Our bowlers have been exceptional in the last two matches. We have scored big with the bat, these are the changes. “Maxwell came back, we have some explosive ability in the middle order.”
