Dhanbad, October 17 (Read News). In the case of attempted murderous attack on Mandara Panchayat head representative Shankar Beldar in Baghmara police station area, the police have taken decisive steps and started attachment proceedings against the main accused Vishwajeet Chakraborty alias Vishu. On Friday, the police pasted a notice of attachment outside the house of the accused and gave a clear warning that if the accused did not immediately surrender in the court, all his property would be confiscated.

According to the information, a few weeks ago, chief representative Shankar Beldar was fired upon near the BCCL regional office in Dumra. The name of Vishwajeet Chakraborty alias Vishu had surfaced as the main accused in this incident. Meanwhile, the accused is absconding since the incident.

In this regard, Baghmara police station in-charge Ajit Kumar said that Vishwajit Chakraborty is constantly changing locations, due to which his arrest could not be made. The special team of Baghmara police is also continuously conducting raids to arrest the accused. On the orders of the court, an advertisement for attachment was pasted at his house on Friday. He said that the police is adopting a strict stance against those who break the law. If the accused does not surrender soon, his movable and immovable property will be confiscated.

The police station in-charge also informed that an advertisement for attachment has also been pasted at the house of another accused Abhay Paswan alias Bengali. During this, he appealed to the area residents that if anyone has information about the whereabouts or activities of the two accused, they should immediately inform the police. He said that no one is above the law and such strict action against criminals will continue in future also.
