He has handed over the General Power of Attorney (GPA) for his luxurious bungalow located in DLF City Phase-1, Gurugram to his elder brother Vikas Kohli. During this time, a rumor also spread that Virat had transferred this bungalow to his brother. However, his elder brother has given a big statement putting an end to these rumours.

What did Vikas Kohli say?

Amidst rumors about this bungalow in Gurugram Vikas Kohli Has said a big thing by posting a story on Instagram. He wrote, "I am not surprised by the spread of so much misinformation and fake news these days. Some people are so free and have so much time to do this. All the best to you guys."

By posting this, Vikas Kohli has given a befitting reply to those people who had alleged that Virat Kohli has transferred his bungalow worth Rs 80 crore to his brother. Now Vikas Kohli has presented his side.

What is the whole matter?

Former Indian team captain Virat Kohli has handed over the responsibility of his luxurious bungalow located in Gurugram to his elder brother Vikas Kohli. For this he has created a legal document, which is called Power of Attorney.

Virat Kohli lives in London with his wife Anushka Sharma and children, so he is not able to come to India frequently to look after his property matters. For this reason, he gave powers to his brother through power of attorney so that he could easily do all the work related to his property. However, some people gave a different color to this matter. After which Vikas Kohli has given him a befitting reply.

What is power of attorney?

power of attorney A legal document in which one person (called the principal) grants permission to another person (called an agent or attorney) to perform specific or general acts on his or her behalf. These rights can be related to property, banking activities or any type of legal work.

When the owner i.e. the principal gives power of attorney, then the agent has full authority to handle that property or work, just like the owner himself does. This means that the decisions taken by the agent are valid for the principal.
