Nepal, 2026 T20 World Cup: Nepal cricket team has qualified for the 2026 T20 World Cup 2025. Along with Nepal, Oman has also confirmed its place in the T20 World Cup to be played next year. Nepal and Oman became the 18th and 19th teams to qualify for the tournament. Now only one more team is left.

Like the previous edition (T20 World Cup 2024), a total of 20 teams will participate in the 2026 T20 World Cup, out of which 19 have confirmed their place. Both teams entered the World Cup through East Asia Pacific.

Both teams got place by being on top of the table (Nepal)

Oman and Nepal were already on top of the points table, but their qualification was confirmed after UAE defeated Samoa by 77 runs. The result further strengthened the UAE’s hold on the remaining qualifying spot.

Oman will play the World Cup for the third time (Oman)

Oman will play its third T20 World Cup in 2026. Oman had also made it to the last 2024 T20 World Cup played in America and West Indies.

Nepal will also play the third T20 World Cup (Nepal)

Like Oman, Nepal will also take the field for the third T20 World Cup in 2026. India’s neighboring country first qualified for the T20 World Cup in 2014. Nepal had also qualified for the tournament in the last season i.e. 2024. Now it remains to be seen how the Nepal team performs in the next World Cup.
