BCCI's biggest domestic cricket tournament Ranji Trophy 2025-26 has started. Tournament matches are being played on different grounds in India. Jharkhand has started its campaign against Tamil Nadu. Both the teams are facing each other at the Sri Ramakrishna College of Arts and Science Ground in Coimbatore. In the first innings of this match, Ishan Kishan has played a memorable innings with the bat and he has also fulfilled a condition of Team India's Chief Selector Ajit Agarkar.

Actually, Ishan Kishan has not played any international match for India since November 2023. He is constantly struggling to make a place in the team. Ishan Kishan completed his century in this match against Tamil Nadu in 134 balls, which included 12 fours and 2 sixes. He was successful in playing captaincy innings for the team on an important occasion. When he came to the crease, the team had lost 3 wickets for 79 runs.
